CHORUS:

ATTENTION CHORUS STUDENTS who wish to sing “There’s A Place For Us” at Graduation: Mrs. LaPlaca will be conducting two brief rehearsals in the Chorus Room in between exams on: Tuesday – 6/12 @ 10:15 a.m. / Wednesday – 6/13 @ 10:15 a.m.. This is voluntary – but please consider participating to support the Seniors at their Graduation. TY

LIBRARY NEWS:

• Just a reminder to ALL STUDENTS & STAFF – that as we near the end of the school year, please start returning your borrowed Library books. This will avoid any unpleasant billing of overdue items! Thank you for your patronage.

NOTE: During EXAM WEEK – 6/8-13 the Library will close at 3 p.m. daily.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION “LOCKER CLEANOUT”:

ALL lockers are to be cleaned out by FRIDAY – 6/8

PROJECT GRADUATION “SPECIAL” MEETING:

• There will be a “SPECIAL” meeting on Wednesday – 6/13 @ 7 p.m. in Mr. Everett’s Room.
  This is a MANDATORY meeting for all chaperones who will be helping with Project Graduation to go over final plans and duties. MARK YOUR CALENDAR!

Reminder: Pre-pay for Cap & Gowns = $20. Make checks payable to: FHUHS.

Baccalaureate Service will be held on Sunday – 6/10 @ 4 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Fair Haven. A luncheon for students and their families will be held at the FHUHS cafeteria, starting at 5 p.m.. This is an optional, non-denominational event.

SOCCER – BOYS:

• There will be an INFORMATIONAL meeting TODAY after school in Mr. Ruby’s room – for boys interested in playing soccer in the Fall.

  Nurse Hanson Reminder: Teens get dehydrated really easy – especially with athletics – REMEMBER throughout the day to hydrate BEFORE you even start exercise / practice / games.

• To all who helped make “Y” Day a success – a heartfelt THANK YOU!

• To all who helped make the beautiful 2012 Yearbook a reality – THANK YOU for all your efforts – it is appreciated, and will be treasured for “generations”!

• To our “retiring” friends – may your days be filled with fond memories of the time you have spent within the walls of FHUHS – you will be missed – but never forgotten! THANK YOU for our memories!

END-OF-YEAR ACTIVITIES SCHEDULING MEETING: FYI: There will be a meeting in the Library on Tuesday – June 12 now at 2 p.m. – to schedule activities for next school year. If you head up an extra-curricular group – or are a class advisor – PLEASE make an effort to attend. If you cannot attend please get a list to Mr. Ducette of activities you would like scheduled. TY

ICE CREAM INVITATION: The Lakes Region Police Cadets / S.A.D.D. would like to invite all FHU Faculty / Staff for some ice cream on MONDAY – June 11 @ 1 p.m. – in appreciation for all the support we have received. It will be served outside by the track field. If the weather does not permit – it will be served in the cafeteria. If you plan on attending – please e-mail Officer Prouty – so we can have enough ice cream for all!!!
