FHUHS BAND BOOSTER ORGANIZATION

The FHUHS Band Boosters is a non-profit organization that supports the Fair Haven Union High School band. With out the Booster club a lot of the special things the band does would not be possible such as: The Halloween Parade, The Pops Concert, The April Trip, and the Picnic. The success of these enrichment activities is dependent on parent support. Please get in involved. The Booster club is also a great way to help shape the program into the program that you and your student want.

Band Booster President

Tina Coltey (thanks!)
- Attend all executive board meetings.
- Set executive board and general member meeting dates.
- Create and distribute agendas prior to each meeting.
- Run meetings.
- Propose activity ideas.
- Communicate with band director about booster activities.
- Confirm parent volunteers for special projects as requested by the band director.
- Aid in the April Trip

Band Booster Vice President

Celia Schneider (thanks!)
- Attend all executive board meetings.
- Assist the band booster president as requested.
- Fill in for band booster president when he/she is absent.
- Facilitate communication between executive board members.
- Organize fundraising efforts.
- Aid in the April Trip

Band Booster Treasurer

We Need a New Treasurer!
- Attend all executive board meetings.
- Handle all incoming and outgoing money for booster activities.
- Maintain accurate records of all band booster funds.
- Report financial status at each executive board meeting and as requested.
- Help Keep track band trip payments
- Pay the band trip bills

Band Booster Secretary

Jen Lenox (thanks!)
- Attend all executive board meetings.
- Publicize booster meetings (officers, students, and community).
- Prepare meeting minutes and distribute to the band director and executive board members within one week following each meeting.
- Prepare and mail band booster correspondence.

Band Director

• Serve as liaison between booster organization and school.
• Communicate music program needs (volunteers, funds, agenda items, etc.) to band booster president.
