COMUNICATING WITH MR. LENOX

I am interested in your suggestions, comments, and questions. You should always feel free to contact me either in person, over the phone 265-4966 ext. 222, or email MLENOX@FHUHS.ORG. I prefer email but I welcome all forms of communication.

The only time that I can’t handle individual concerns is during 1st period rehearsals. It is important that our brief rehearsal time be used for group activities. If a student needs reeds or an instrument repaired, they should see me during a study hall, lunch, or before and after school.

Band Letters and E-mail
Last year I attempted to communicate with parents by mailing letters. I would like to take that process into the 21st Century. In an attempt to initiate a simpler and cheaper means of communication, I hope to replace the band letters with band e-mails. If you have an e-mail please put it down on the band permission form. If your e-mail changes during the year please e-mail me the change. This will save on postage, envelopes, and lots of time spent addressing and stuffing envelopes.

The Band Web Page
One of my goals this year is to get a band web page linked to the High School web page fhuhs.org. Once I get the web page up and running I will post letters, forms, band handbook, and other useful information.

The Metal File and Bulletin Board Outside the Band Room:
I will use the Bulletin Board outside the band room to post information that pertains to the band and other musical interests. Located next to the bulletin board is a metal file where I keep copies of the recent band letters, handouts, and forms. If you ever lose or miss a form or handout just take one from the metal file.

The Best opportunity for Communication: The Band Boosters
The best way to communicate with me and help shape the band program is to join the Band Boosters and attend Band Booster Meetings! Click here for more info on the The Band Boosters
