Juniors: College Pathways resources are now available online to help you throughout your college search and application process, including tips for SAT/ACT test prep. Deadlines:

    • ACT: register

            by May 4 for the June 9 test

    • SAT: register

            by May 8th for the June 2 test

 

Summer Opportunities

Summer is right around the corner.  Many colleges and other organizations offer great summer programs for high school students.  Binders with information can be found in the Guidance Office.  Sample programs are listed on our Summer Programs webpage.

Introduction to College Studies (ICS) through CCV

This is a free class that helps you decide whether college fits into your future and prepares you for the transition from high school to college.  Once you complete the course, you can apply for a voucher for a free college course.

Things to do to prepare for Senior Year:

Make sure your senior year schedule is set and fulfills graduation requirements.

  • Attending college? Go to Open Houses and campus tours.
  • Heading to work? – Begin networking within the field you wish to gain employment to establish future job opportunities.

Look for ways to build your academic and leadership skills over the summer by volunteering at a local charity or civic organization.
