COMING EVENTS

After School Book Talks

We have enjoyed many after school book talks during this school year and look forward to the 2008-2009 school year to share more books that we have read. Our first book talk in the fall will be held on Wednesday, September 24th, at 4 p.m. in the library. There are no requirements. It would be great to see a large group attend. If you have participated in one or more of these book sessions, tell others how much fun it can be to share what we read with one another.

-If you have read some great books that you want to share with others, these book talks are for you.

-If you have read just one book that you are excited about and want others to know about, we want you to join us.

-Maybe you would just like to come in and check us out. If you don’t like to read that much or maybe not at all, these book talks are definitely for you. We can get you hooked on READING.

Again, please remember that there is nothing intimidating about this group. In fact the group is usually different each month with a couple of regulars. Mr. Allen is a regular adult participant and he reads very interesting books and gives a great book talk. We are a small group of people who like to read and who like to talk about the neat things we read about.

Thank you to all who supported this endeavor. –Mrs. Burlette

Hope to have you join us in September.
