Vocabulary Flashcards for iPhone / iPod Touch / Android

If you have an iPod Touch, an iPhone, or an Android device you can download flashcard sets to your handheld for your class. gFlash+ is an application that lets you download selected flashcard sets that I have created and put online.

gFlash+ is a free application with a small advertising banner across the top of the screen. gFlashPro is a $4.99 professional version with no advertising that has a few extra features if you’re willing to pay for it.

Once you have installed gFlash+, you can search the gWhiz Catalog within gFlash+ for “FHUHS” to find all of the flashcard sets that I have created and shared with gWhiz. Select the vocabulary set you want to practice, and download it to your iPhone or iPod Touch. You can also search the gWhiz catalog online from your desktop computer.

Flashcards can be done English to Spanish, or Spanish to English, and you can even configure the application to do multiple choice questions using a random selection of all of the possible answers.

I will be uploading more content over the next few weeks. Essentially, if there is a crossword available for a vocabulary set, I intend to make a gFlash+ flashcard set available as well.
